The Store Manager is primarily responsible for the
overall operation and performance
of the store. They lead the team, manage inventory and sales, ensure excellent customer service, and maintain profitability.
1. Team Leadership & Staff Management
Recruit, train, and supervise staff
Schedule and assign duties
Monitor staff performance and provide feedback
Motivate and support staff to meet goals
2. Sales & Customer Service
Drive sales to meet or exceed targets
Ensure high standards of customer service
Handle customer complaints or escalations
Implement promotions and visual merchandising standards
3. Operations & Inventory
Manage stock levels, orders, and deliveries
Reduce stock loss through theft prevention and process compliance
Oversee inventory audits and stocktakes
Maintain store cleanliness, safety, and organization
4. Financial Responsibilities
Prepare and manage budgets
Analyze sales figures and forecast future sales
Control expenses to maintain profitability
Prepare daily/weekly/monthly sales and performance reports
5. Compliance & Safety
Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures
Comply with health and safety regulations
Maintain proper documentation (logs, reports, etc.)
Coordinate with external parties (vendors, auditors, etc.)
