The Store Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the store, ensuring excellent customer service, achieving sales targets, and managing staff effectively. The role involves inventory control, financial management, and maintaining store standards.
Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day store operations and ensure smooth functioning.
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and handle customer complaints.
Achieve sales targets and maximize store profitability.
Maintain stock records, purchase entries, and sales data using
MS Excel
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports in Excel (sales, stock, expenses)
Monitor inventory levels, order stock, and prevent losses.
Maintain store cleanliness, safety, and visual merchandising standards.
Prepare sales reports, budgets, and performance reviews.
Excel & Computer Skills
Proficient in
MS Excel
(VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, formulas, charts)
Maintain stock registers, sales analysis, and MIS reports
Basic knowledge of MS Word and email communication
Skills & Qualifications
Proven experience as a Store Manager or similar role.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Basic knowledge of accounting, billing, and stock management.
Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Education & Experience
Graduate preferred (12th pass may be considered with experience)
1-2 years of experience in retail management (may vary by industry).
Working Conditions
Full-time role with flexible working hours, including weekends and holidays.
Standing for long periods and handling store operations.
