Job Description

Responsible for managing overall store operations including inventory accuracy, stock handling, compliance, reporting, and team supervision. Ensures efficient coordination with procurement, production, and quality teams to support smooth operational flow.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain accurate inventory records and monitor stock levels. Supervise material receipt, inspection, storage & issuance. Interpret technical drawings and perform basic geometry calculations (volume, mass, density). Apply basic knowledge of metal properties for material evaluation. Ensure GST compliance and maintain reports for audits & reviews. Implement storage best practices to reduce damage and wastage. Coordinate with internal teams for seamless operations. Lead and train store staff for effective store and documentation management.

Qualifications & Skills

Education:

B.Com / Diploma / B.Tech (Mechanical preferred); Materials Management (added advantage).

Technical Skills:

Inventory software, MS Office, Advanced Excel.

Knowledge:

GST & tax compliance, mechanical & metal basics, technical drawing interpretation. Strong organizational, analytical & team management skills. Candidates from

Howrah to Airport route

preferred.
