Regional Sales Manager / Area Manager / Retail Head
Job Purpose:
To lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the store, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction, driving sales performance, maintaining brand standards, and ensuring smooth operational execution. The Store Manager plays a pivotal role in representing the brand and ensuring customer engagement within a cosmetics retail environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1.
Sales & Customer Experience
Achieve and exceed store sales targets and KPIs.
Provide exceptional customer service and ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
Monitor customer preferences and feedback; suggest improvements in products and services.
Train team on selling techniques and product knowledge, especially for skincare, beauty, and cosmetic products.
2.
Store Operations
Ensure smooth functioning of daily store operations.
Maintain visual merchandising standards and cleanliness of the store.
Ensure all in-store displays, testers, and promotional materials are up to date.
Handle stock management including inventory control, receiving, and stock replenishment.
Ensure compliance with all safety, health, and hygiene protocols.
3.
Team Management
Recruit, train, and manage store staff.
Assign tasks and monitor performance of team members.
Conduct regular staff meetings, coaching sessions, and performance reviews.
Motivate staff to meet or exceed performance targets.
4.
Inventory & Stock Control
Monitor inventory levels and work closely with the warehouse/manufacturing unit to ensure stock availability.
Conduct periodic stock audits and minimize shrinkage and wastage.
Handle expired or damaged products as per company policies.
5.
Reporting & Administration
Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly sales and inventory reports.
Monitor store expenses and ensure operations remain within budget.
Coordinate with backend teams including HR, finance, and supply chain for operational needs.
Key Requirements:Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field.
3-7 years of experience in a retail management role, preferably in the
cosmetics, beauty, or FMCG sector
.
Experience working with manufacturing or distribution channels is a plus.
Skills & Competencies:
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of retail management software (POS systems, inventory management tools).
Strong customer focus with a passion for beauty and cosmetics.
Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make decisions based on insights.
Problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
