The Store Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Polar Bear Ice Cream store. This includes managing staff, ensuring high-quality customer service, maintaining hygiene and operational standards, driving sales, and achieving store profitability. The ideal candidate will be a motivated leader with a passion for food service and people management.
Key Responsibilities
1. Store Operations:
Supervise daily store activities, ensuring smooth functioning of operations.
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the supply team for stock replenishment.
Maintain hygiene, food safety, and cleanliness standards as per company SOPs.
Ensure all equipment and machinery are in working condition.
2. Sales & Customer Service:
Achieve monthly sales and profitability targets.
Deliver excellent customer experience and promptly resolve customer complaints.
Implement upselling and cross-selling strategies to increase sales.
3. Team Management:
Recruit, train, and supervise store staff including shift leads and crew members.
Schedule shifts and manage attendance, payroll inputs, and performance evaluations.
Motivate the team to maintain high service standards and positive work culture.
4. Reporting & Compliance:
Maintain accurate daily sales, cash, and expense records.
Ensure compliance with company policies and statutory regulations.
Submit periodic operational reports to the Area Manager.
5. Marketing & Brand Execution:
Implement local marketing activities and brand promotions as directed by the marketing team.
Ensure proper display of promotional materials and visual merchandising.
