Prepare and maintain cost sheets for Engineering materials, components, consumables, and spare parts.
Collect and analyse data related to material usage, wastage, and price variations.
Support management in product cost estimation and standard cost updates.
Coordinate with Purchase and Finance teams to verify supplier invoices and cost accuracy.
Maintain records of cost changes, ensuring correct valuation of inventory.
Prepare monthly cost variance reports and assist in budgetary control.
Support internal and external audits related to cost data.
Ensure proper receipt, storage, and issuance of engineering spares, tools, and consumables.
Maintain accurate inventory records in SAP or store management systems.
Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconcile discrepancies.
Monitor minimum and maximum stock levels, initiate timely reordering.
Implement FIFO/LIFO and other material control systems effectively.
Coordinate with Maintenance and Production departments for material requirements.
Maintain housekeeping, safety, and 5S standards in the store area.
Ensure proper tagging, binning, and coding of all items.
Maintain updated records of GRNs (Goods Receipt Notes), MRNs (Material Requisition Notes), and issue slips.
Good knowledge of material management and cost accounting principles.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Coordination and communication skills.
Accuracy of cost reports.
Stock variance percentage.
Inventory turnover ratio.
Compliance with audit and documentation standards.
Timeliness in reporting and replenishment.
Diploma or Bachelor's in Mechanical/related field.
1 -3 years of experience in engineering store management with costing and maintenance exposure
