Job Description

Role Overview



The Retail Store Manager is responsible for leading the store team, achieving sales targets, managing daily operations, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining overall store performance. The position focuses on people management, financial performance, operational standards, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities



1. Store Operations Management



Oversee daily store activities and ensure smooth operations. Maintain product display, cleanliness, visual merchandising, and stock levels. Ensure billing accuracy, POS operation, and cash management. Implement company policies, SOPs, and safety standards.

2. Sales & Business Growth



Achieve monthly sales targets and improve store performance. Monitor product movement and plan promotions effectively. Analyze sales reports and take action to improve high/low-performing categories. Ensure consistent customer engagement to boost revenue.

3. Customer Experience



Ensure high customer satisfaction with fast and professional service. Handle escalations, complaints, and service issues effectively. Create a welcoming store environment for all walk-in customers.

4. Team Leadership



Manage and motivate the sales team and floor staff. Prepare staff schedules and assign daily tasks. Conduct training for product knowledge, customer handling, and sales techniques. Monitor staff performance and maintain grooming standards.

5. Inventory & Stock Control



Coordinate with warehouse/inventory teams for stock replenishment. Manage inward/outward stock and reduce shrinkage/pilferage. Conduct regular stock audits and maintain records.

6. Reporting & Documentation



Prepare daily/weekly/monthly sales reports. Maintain attendance, leave, and HR-related records. Provide market trends and customer insights to management.

Required Skills & Qualities



Strong leadership and team-management skills. Excellent communication and customer-handling ability. Good knowledge of retail operations and sales techniques. POS, billing, and basic computer skills. Problem-solving ability and decision-making skills. Ability to work in high-pressure/rush environments.

Education & Experience



Any Degree / Diploma. 3-7 years of experience in retail (mandatory). Experience as Floor Manager / Supervisor is preferred.

Salary Range



Based on brand category and experience.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ?20,000.00 - ?40,000.00 per month
