Job Description

A store manager is

responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a store, making sure it runs smoothly and effectively

. Maintain high store standards and conditions and foster a positive environment. Ensure all products and displays are merchandised effectively to maximize sales and profitability. Explain the products in detail to the clients as per their requirement Maintain the stability and reputation of the store by complying with legal requirements Perform Billing for the products and maintaining stock list Organize special promotions, displays and events Maintain awareness of market trends in the retail industry, understanding forthcoming customer initiatives and monitoring what local competitors are doing. The store manager must ensure that sufficient inventory is available at the store to avoid being "out of stock". Shelves and racks are properly stocked and products do not fall off the shelves The store is well lit, ventilated and offers a positive ambience to the customers.
