Job Description

Role Purpose

To lead and manage the entire store operations ensuring excellent customer service, high

product quality, staff performance, and profitability. The Store Manager is accountable for

operational efficiency, sales growth, and compliance with company standards.

Key Responsibilities

Store Operations

? Oversee daily store functioning including opening, closing, and shift planning.

? Ensure all products are handled, stored, and displayed as per SOPs.

? Maintain chillers, freezers, and ensure temperature logs are recorded.

? Ensure timely stock orders and coordinate with warehouse.

Customer Service & Sales

? Ensure a premium customer experience and handle escalated customer complaints.

? Train staff on upselling, product knowledge, and service excellence.

? Track sales performance and implement strategies to increase revenue.

? Visit Nearby societies to increase the customer base and sales as well.

People Management

? Lead, schedule, and supervise store staff (butchers, helpers).

? Monitor performance and conduct periodic training sessions.

? Maintain staff discipline, grooming, and attendance.

Inventory, Wastage & Reporting

? Conduct daily stock audits and maintain accurate inventory records.

? Control wastage, shrinkage, and pilferage.

? Prepare daily reports: sales, footfall, cash, consumption, wastage.

? Oversee POS operations and ensure timely daily cash/Online paymentclosing.

Compliance & Hygiene

? Ensure compliance with FSSAI standards, food safety norms, and company SOPs.

? Maintain hygiene, sanitation, pest control, and store cleanliness at all times.

Promotions & Marketing

? Execute in-store offers, promotions, and visibility campaigns.

? Ensure proper display of posters, standees, and branding.

Requirements

? Graduate preferred; minimum 3-6 years of retail/QSR/FMCG/Store Operation

experience.

? Strong leadership and communication skills.

? Experience in managing a food retail outlet is an advantage.

? Ability to handle pressure and multitask.
