Implement inventory control measures to minimize stock discrepancies and wastage.
Ensure optimal stock levels are maintained to meet production schedules efficiently.
2. Order Fulfilment & Coordination
Coordinate with Production, Procurement, and Logistics teams to ensure timely order fulfilment.
Oversee the movement of materials from warehouse to production and vice versa.
Implement prioritization systems for smooth production requirements.
3. Storage & Space Optimization
Optimize warehouse layout and ensure efficient utilization of space.
Maintain systematic labelling, segregation, and storage of materials.
Introduce effective storage solutions to enhance capacity utilization.
4. Quality & Compliance
Work closely with the Quality Assurance team to ensure materials meet company quality standards.
Conduct periodic inspections and monitor storage conditions.
Prevent storage of damaged or non-conforming materials.
Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant storage environment.
6. Team Management
Supervise, train, and mentor store and warehouse staff.
Define KPIs and evaluate performance periodically.
Promote teamwork, discipline, and accountability within the department.
7. Documentation & Reporting
Maintain comprehensive records of material inflow/outflow and stock movements.
Generate daily/weekly/monthly reports on inventory status, consumption, and variances.
Present actionable insights for process improvement and cost control.
8. Technology & System Integration
Operate and manage the Inventory Management System (IMS).
Explore opportunities to automate and digitize warehouse operations.
Train staff on software and technology usage for better accuracy and efficiency.
9. Cost & Resource Management
Monitor warehouse operational expenses and identify areas for cost reduction.
Optimize manpower and material handling resources.
Minimize material losses and wastage through efficient controls.
10. Process Improvement
Continuously assess store processes and suggest improvements for productivity and accuracy.
Identify and resolve operational bottlenecks.
Drive a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
Minimum 5-7 years of experience in warehouse/store management (preferably in FMCG or hygiene product manufacturing).
Strong knowledge of inventory systems, material handling, and warehouse operations.
Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
Proficiency in ERP/IMS software and Microsoft Excel.
Knowledge of safety and compliance requirements in industrial environments.
