A Store Manager in the cement industry oversees all aspects of store operations, including inventory management, material handling, and team supervision, ensuring efficient and compliant operations. Inventory Management:

Monitor and control inventory levels, ensuring optimal stock levels to avoid shortages or overstocking.

Material Handling:

Supervise the receipt, storage, and issuance of materials, ensuring proper documentation and compliance with company policies.

Team Supervision:

Lead and motivate store staff, providing guidance and support in daily operations, stock verification, and housekeeping.

Compliance and Safety:

Enforce safety protocols and industry regulations related to material storage and handling.

Documentation and Reporting:

Maintain accurate records of store transactions, including inventory levels, receipts, and dispatches, using ERP systems if applicable.

Customer Service:

Handle customer inquiries and complaints related to materials or store operations, providing excellent service and support.

Vendor Coordination:

Liaise with procurement, vendors, and transporters regarding material deliveries and discrepancies.

Cycle Counts and Physical Verification:

Conduct regular stock audits and reconcile physical inventory with system records.

Store Operations:

Oversee the day-to-day running of the store, ensuring materials are readily available and meet quality standards.
