Job Summary

The Stores Manager is responsible for the efficient management of the raw material, consumables, finished goods, and tool stores in a sheet metal fabrication unit. The role ensures the availability of materials for uninterrupted production, minimizes inventory costs, maintains accurate records, and upholds stringent quality and safety standards in the storage and handling of materials.

5-10 years in sheet metal fabrication, manufacturing, or related industry

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering

Required Skills & Competencies

Technical Knowledge:

Thorough understanding of

sheet metal materials

, grades, grades, and standard specifications. Knowledge of fabrication processes (laser cutting, punching, bending, welding, painting). Proficiency in

ERP/MRP software

and MS Office (especially Excel).

Managerial Skills:

Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

Analytical Skills:

Ability to analyze stock data, generate MIS reports, and forecast requirements.

Communication:

Excellent verbal and written communication in English and the local language.

Attention to Detail:

High accuracy in documentation and physical verification.
