Job Objective
To efficiently manage the receipt, storage, and issuance of materials, tools, and consumables, while maintaining accurate records and ensuring smooth coordination between departments.
Key Responsibilities
Material Handling
Receive and verify materials against purchase orders.
Issue materials to respective departments based on approved requests.
Inventory Management
Maintain up-to-date records of stock received, issued, and returned.
Ensure proper labeling, storage, and arrangement of materials.
Stock Control
Conduct regular stock checks and physical verification.
Report shortages, damages, or discrepancies to management immediately.
Documentation & Reporting
Maintain all relevant documentation such as GRNs, issue slips, and return notes.
Prepare and share daily, weekly, and monthly stock reports with management.
Coordination
Coordinate with the purchase, accounts, and production teams for timely material flow.
Support internal departments by providing required materials promptly.
Safety & Housekeeping
Ensure proper housekeeping and cleanliness in the store area.
Follow safety protocols for material handling and storage.
Key Skills Required
Strong knowledge of store operations and inventory management
Basic computer skills (MS Excel / Inventory software)
Excellent organizational and communication abilities
Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping
Honest, disciplined, and responsible
Qualification
Graduate or Diploma in any discipline
Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in stores or warehouse management
