STORE MANAGER JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• \xc2\xb7 Manage daily operations of business and ensure sales goals are met
• \xc2\xb7 Direct employees in daily operations such as serving customers, inventory taking, reconciling cash and managing in store marketing
• \xc2\xb7 Assigns duties to relevant employees
• \xc2\xb7 Conduct hiring and onboarding of new employees
• \xc2\xb7 Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations
• \xc2\xb7 Track and manage inventory at store
• \xc2\xb7 Meet sales goals by training, motivating, mentoring and providing feedback to sales staff
• \xc2\xb7 Ensure high levels of customers satisfaction through excellent service
• \xc2\xb7 Complete store administration and ensure compliance with policies and procedures
• \xc2\xb7 Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards
• \xc2\xb7 Report on buying trends, customer needs, profits etc
• \xc2\xb7 Propose innovative ideas to increase market share
• \xc2\xb7 Conduct personnel performance appraisals to assess training needs and build career paths
• \xc2\xb7 Deal with all issues that arise from staff or customers (complaints, grievances etc)

Retail Store Manager qualifications and skills

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Business Administration or related field preferred
• 5+ years of retail management experience
• Computer database and productivity software skills required
• Proven history of successfully training employees in a variety of departments
• Strong understanding of sales and customer service techniques
• Demonstrated ability to maintain and work within a budget
