Key Responsibilities
1. 1. Inventory & Store Operations
Supervise daily store operations ensuring timely receipt, issue, and dispatch of materials.
Maintain optimum stock levels and ensure zero stock-outs or overstocking.
Ensure accurate documentation of goods received and issued through ERP/SAP system.
Conduct regular stock audits and reconciliation with physical and system records.
2. 2. Material Handling & Storage
Ensure proper storage conditions for raw, packaging, and finished goods as per FMCG standards.
Implement FIFO/FEFO methodology in material handling.
Monitor material shelf-life and coordinate for timely disposal of expired or damaged stock.
3. 3. Coordination & Dispatch
Coordinate with production, purchase, and logistics departments for material requirements and dispatch schedules.
Ensure timely dispatch of finished goods to distributors/dealers/customers.
Manage transporter coordination, documentation, and dispatch MIS.
4. 4. Compliance & Safety
Ensure adherence to company policies, safety norms, and statutory regulations.
Maintain records for audits (internal/external) and support audit requirements.
Ensure housekeeping, hygiene, and safety within store premises.
5. 5. Team Management
Supervise store staff and allocate work responsibilities.
Conduct periodic training on store procedures, documentation, and safety.
Monitor staff performance and ensure discipline and efficiency.
Key Skills & Competencies
Strong knowledge of inventory control, dispatch, and SAP/ERP operations.
Analytical thinking and attention to detail.
Knowledge of FMCG storage norms and shelf-life management.
