Store Manager



Store Manager for Rifaaqatt ( A luxury store of Punjabi Juttis and Vintage clutches) ensure that the store is functioning well. They provide business to the brand and ensure that customers receive the best in store and post purchase experience.

Core Responsibilities of Retail Manager:



Ensure store is properly set and presented every day for start of business. Keep track of inventory of merchandise, stocks. Ensure staff is trained on product, policy, etiquette, and customer handling. Maintain compliance with safety and security protocols. Train and skill the team members for future roles Maintain event calendar of the store. Ensure in store activations are done as per the marketing calendar. Manage and reconcile daily inventory levels. Keep stock of the inventory. Collaborating with marketing team to develop collaterals that can boost sales for slow moving stock. Initiate store level marketing calendars that will keep a funnel of activity going in the store at a regular interval. Suggest location that is best for setting up new stores. Make the P&L report for the store on a regular basis and submit to the management. Suggest cost improvement practices for the store. Ensure stores are decorated as per marketing directive during festive time of the year. Ensure POS systems are installed on the cash counter. Suggest workflow improvements in POSM handling processes. Develop tools for digital security policy of the store and ensure that all the employees are aware of the policy and the repercussions of not following the same. Ensure cash register of the store is reconciled daily. Ensure cash is transferred to the bank as per the owners guidelines.

Skills and Qualifications for Retail ManagerTechnical Skills



Strong proficiency in retail management like ERP. Strong proficiency in POSM software. Familiarity with sales forecasts and inventory management. Understanding of budget and cost control principles. Strong familiarity with Cash Flow and TALLY tools Maintain store inventory.

Communication and Leadership Skills



Leadership skills to manage the staff. Ability to prioritize tasks and resolve them under time constraints. Strong analytical skills to solve problems quickly and judiciously. Ability to manage customer queries and complaints with professionalism. Strong ethical nature to ensure that cash billing etc is managed without any reproach. Ability to recruit people in the team who are strong in handling cash and have a strong moral compass. Ability to manage difficult conversations when it comes to recruiting, training and retrenching people.

Educational Qualifications



Bachelor's degree in any field.
