We are looking for a dynamic and multitasking individual to join our team as a Retail
Store Manager
. This dual role involves overseeing both cashiering and store management duties, ensuring smooth operations, excellent customer service, and a visually appealing store environment.
Candidates with Apparel Retail experience are highly preferred
Key Responsibilities
Sales and Customer Engagement
Achieve sales targets through proactive customer engagement, upselling, and cross-selling.
Deliver exceptional customer service and promptly resolve complaints and queries.
Assist customers in styling outfits, providing personalized recommendations, and introducing additional options.
Maintain a proper record of customers visiting the store and update them about new collections via calls or messages.
Store Operations and Inventory Management
Ensure accurate transaction processing and daily cash reconciliation using the store's portal.
Maintain comprehensive records of stock-in and stock-out data between the store and warehouse.
Coordinate with the inventory team to guide them on stock requirements at the store and items to be returned to the warehouse.
Keep a proper inventory record of all items present at the store.
Inform management about customer feedback and suggestions regularly.
Visual Merchandising and Store Aesthetics
Check and update visual merchandising displays periodically to align with brand standards.
Ensure racks and displays are clean and well-organized at all times.
Take care of the ironing of all clothes to maintain product presentation.
Actively work towards enhancing the store's aesthetic to create an inviting environment.
Compliance and Coordination
Conduct frequent meetings with the accounts department for audits and provide necessary documentation and data when required.
Submit accurate sales reports and maintain customer feedback records.
Team Collaboration and Training
Collaborate with team members and participate in training programs to stay updated with product knowledge and sales techniques.
Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless coordination and operations.
Qualifications
Proven experience in retail sales, store management, and cashier roles, preferably in clothing or e-commerce stores.
Strong customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in retail management is a plus.
