Job Description

Inventory & Stock Control

:

Monitor stock levels, manage ordering, receive/inspect goods, implement FIFO, track expiry dates, and oversee storage.

Procurement

:

Coordinate with approved vendors, negotiate terms, process purchase orders, and ensure adherence to budget and quality standards.

Operations

:

Manage daily store activities, organize storage, oversee distribution to departments, and handle stock movement records (receipts, issues).

Staff Supervision

:

Train, schedule, and evaluate store staff, fostering efficiency and teamwork.

Compliance & Reporting

:

Ensure adherence to hospital policies, health/safety regulations, and regulatory requirements; prepare inventory and transaction reports.

Coordination

:

Liaise with other hospital departments for supply needs and with suppliers for timely deliveries.

Emergency Preparedness

:

Develop plans for supply continuity during emergencies.

Key Skills & Qualifications



Education

: Bachelor's degree (Business Admin).

Experience:

5 to 8 years.

Technical

: Proficiency in inventory software, HIS, Microsoft Office.

Soft Skills

: Leadership, organization, time management, communication, negotiation, problem-solving, attention to detail.
