A Store Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a retail store to ensure it runs smoothly, efficiently, and profitably. They manage staff, inventory, customer service, and sales goals while maintaining the store's standards and brand image. 2. Key Responsibilities
2.1 Daily Store Operations
Open and close the store following security and safety procedures.
Oversee daily cash handling, register reconciliation, and banking deposits.
Coordinate deliveries, vendors, and service appointments.
Manage store budgets and control operating expenses.
2.2 Staff Management and Development
Recruit, hire, onboard, and train new employees.
Develop work schedules balancing labor costs with adequate coverage.
Supervise, motivate, coach, and discipline employees when necessary.
Conduct performance appraisals and provide constructive feedback.
Develop and mentor assistant managers and key staff to foster leadership pipelines.
3.Required Skills and Qualifications

Proficiency with POS systems, inventory management software, and scheduling tools.
Basic financial literacy: budget preparation, sales forecasting, and reporting.
