Job Description

Responsibilities of Store Manager:-



1. The store manager is mainly responsible to receive and issue supplies for day to day resort operations.

2. To co-ordinate with purchase department for the various purchases.

3. To keep the stores area clean and receiving area clean at all the times.

4. The store manager verifies that all supplies and foods received are listed in requisitions /order and the delivery challans.

5. To check and verify physically all the invoices with the material received and keep record of the same.

6. To maintain stock inventory and stock records every month.

7. To maintain the stock records of material consumption on daily basis.

8. To receive and forward all goods and delivers of the hotel to the correct point/storage are of the organization.

9. To follow standards of the organization for issuing and receiving stock within the stores area.

10. Maintain clear and organized records to ensure all reports and invoices are filed and stored properly.

11. Monitor and take inventory on regular basis.

12. Monitor PAR levels for all food items.

13. Responsible for storage of both food and beverages and operational stocks.

14. Responsible for day to day check on the storage facility for upkeep and hygiene.

15. Responsible to verify all foods arrived as per the agreed purchase, delivery note and agreed quantity has been record.

16. Refuse acceptance of damaged, unacceptable and incorrect items.

17. Ensure all stores requisitions are signed by concerned department heads (HODs) and approved by G.M.

18. Ensure the quantity requested and quantity issued always matches.

19. Ensure store requisition form is signed by the person collecting the goods and enter into the inventory management system.

20. Conduct physical audits to determine inventory levels and needs.

21. Conduct physical stock audits on a regular basis as advised by financial controller/ manager -finance.

22. Any differences between the manual count and IMS software, have to be investigated and the information to be given to the finance department.

23. Assist Accounts in finding out any cost discrepancies.

24. Complete requisition forms for inventory & supplies.

25. Entered all requisitions on daily basis and update inventory management software.

26. Work closely with purchasing department to order and receive material.

27. Troubleshoot any vendor delivery issues and oversee/follow up on the return process.

28. Follow up on documentation of after closing hours issues ensuring that it is in accordance with the establish internal controls and procedures.

29. Adhere to all health and safety procedures particularly relating to food & beverages items.

30. Speak with others using clear and professional language.

31. Keep accurate recordings of all incoming and outgoing material.

32. To take a note of the material which is an a very low stock.

33. Identify and report the resort manager about slow moving items to avoid over purchasing.

34. Verify and track received material and complete inventory reports.

35. Perform any other duties assigned by the management or supervision.

36. Familiar with materials management system.

37. Familiar with inventory management system.

38. Must have been computer skills for day to day operations.

Pay: ?20,000.00 - ?25,000.00 per month
