Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing stock.
Ensure timely receipt, inspection, and proper storage of materials.
Monitor stock levels and initiate timely replenishment to avoid shortages.
2. Material Handling & Storage
Ensure proper handling, stacking, and labeling of items.
Implement FIFO/LIFO methods as required.
Maintain cleanliness and order in the storage area.
3. Documentation & Reporting
Prepare GRNs (Goods Receipt Notes), issue slips, and delivery challans.
Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly stock reports.
Reconcile physical stock with system stock and report variances.
4. Vendor & Site Coordination
Coordinate with vendors, purchase department, and project/site teams.
Ensure timely material dispatch to sites or departments as per requirements.
Follow up on pending orders and delivery schedules.
5. Compliance & Safety
Ensure compliance with company policies and statutory requirements.
Enforce safety measures for handling and storing hazardous or heavy materials.
Conduct periodic audits and stock verification.
6. Team Management
Supervise and train store staff in inventory handling procedures.
Assign duties and monitor performance for efficiency and accuracy.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Graduate in any discipline (Diploma in Materials Management preferred)
Proficient in inventory management software (e.g., Tally, ERP, SAP)
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
Good communication and team management abilities
Knowledge of safety protocols and material classification
