Job Title: Shift Incharge / Senior Store Engineer - Solar Panel Manufacturing


Location: Pune - Chakan


Experience: 5-7 years in store/inventory management or warehouse operations, preferably in a manufacturing environment


Reports To: Store Manager



Position Summary

The Shift In charge/Senior Store Engineer is responsible for managing store operations during assigned shifts, ensuring efficient material handling, storage, and dispatch of materials required for solar panel manufacturing. This role focuses on maintaining accurate inventory, supporting production needs, and coordinating with the Store Manager and other departments for seamless operations.

Key Responsibilities:



Shift Operations Oversight:

Supervise and manage store activities during assigned shifts, ensuring accurate material handling, timely dispatch, and adherence to store protocols.

Inventory Control & Stock Management:

Maintain accurate inventory records, track material movement, and ensure optimal stock levels. Prevent stockouts and overstock situations by adhering to established inventory management procedures.

Material Handling & Storage Optimization:

Oversee the proper storage of materials, consumables, and finished goods. Ensure efficient use of storage space and adherence to FIFO/LIFO practices for inventory rotation.

Supplier Coordination & Material Tracking:

Collaborate with the procurement team to ensure the timely receipt of materials and resolve any supply-related issues. Ensure that material receipts and issues are recorded accurately in the ERP system.

Team Supervision & Training:

Lead and guide the store team during the shift. Train staff on material handling, safety procedures, and ERP usage. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and optimize workflow for efficiency.

ERP & Documentation:

Ensure real-time updates to the ERP system for material movements, stock levels, and requisitions. Maintain accurate documentation for audits, material receipts, and dispatch.

Interdepartmental Collaboration:

Coordinate with production, logistics, quality, and finance departments to ensure smooth flow of materials, timely resolution of issues, and alignment with overall operational objectives.

Qualifications:



Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Logistics, or a related field 5-7 years of experience in store operations, inventory management, or warehouse roles in a manufacturing setting (preferably in solar or electronics) Strong knowledge of inventory management systems and material handling processes Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills Understanding of warehouse safety standards and regulatory compliance

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ?700,000.00 per year
