The Store Manager is responsible for the overall operations of the clothing retail store, including sales performance, team management, inventory control, and customer experience. The role ensures smooth store functioning, achievement of sales targets, and adherence to brand and company standards.
Key ResponsibilitiesStore Operations
Oversee day-to-day store operations and ensure smooth functioning
Maintain store cleanliness, visual merchandising, and brand presentation
Follow opening and closing procedures as per company policy
Ensure compliance with company SOPs, safety, and security guidelines
Sales & Performance
Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets
Analyze sales reports and implement strategies to improve performance
Monitor key retail metrics such as conversion rate, average bill value (ABV), and footfall
Manage promotions, discounts, and seasonal sales effectively
Team Management
Recruit, train, and supervise store staff
Prepare duty rosters and manage attendance and leaves
Motivate team members to achieve individual and store targets
Conduct performance reviews and provide regular feedback
Inventory & Stock Control
Ensure accurate stock receiving, tagging, and display
Monitor stock levels and prevent loss or pilferage
Conduct periodic stock audits and reconciliations
Coordinate with warehouse and head office for stock replenishment
Customer Service
Maintain high standards of customer service at all times
Handle customer complaints and escalations professionally
Build customer loyalty and encourage repeat business
Ensure smooth handling of returns, exchanges, and billing issues
Cash & Billing Management
Supervise cash handling and billing accuracy
Ensure POS systems function correctly
Prepare daily sales and expense reports
Reporting & Coordination
Submit daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports
Coordinate with HR, accounts, and operations teams
Implement company policies and promotional strategies at store level

Qualifications
Graduate or Diploma in any discipline (preferred)
2-5 years of experience as a Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager in a clothing or retail brand

Pay: ₹19,000.00 - ₹23,000.00 per month
