Job Purpose:
The Store Manager is responsible for the overall operations, profitability, and performance of the store. The role requires strong leadership, operational excellence, and the ability to motivate and develop a team to achieve sales and service goals while maintaining the brand's high standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Store Operations:
Oversee daily store operations and ensure smooth functioning.
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment for customers and staff.
Brand Representation:
Act as a
Brand Ambassador
for Adidas, ensuring the store reflects brand values, image, and culture.
Uphold brand guidelines and deliver an exceptional consumer experience.
Compliance & Policy Adherence:
Ensure all HR policies, statutory regulations, and operational procedures are followed.
Maintain discipline and ethical standards within the store.
Financial Accountability:
Take complete ownership of the store's
Profit & Loss (P&L)
performance.
Manage expenses effectively and optimize profitability.
Sales Forecasting & Budgeting:
Prepare and manage monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Work with the Retail and Finance teams to plan and achieve business goals.
Team Management & Development:
Lead, coach, and motivate the team to achieve sales and service excellence.
Conduct regular performance reviews and identify training needs.
Build a culture of teamwork and accountability.
Performance Monitoring:
Track store KPIs, sales reports, and conversion ratios.
Analyze performance data and implement action plans for improvement.
Marketing & Customer Engagement:
Drive local marketing initiatives to boost footfall and sales.
Ensure superior customer service and handle escalations professionally.
Visual Merchandising:
Ensure all visual merchandising and promotional activities are executed as per brand standards.
Maintain store presentation and product display quality at all times.
Inventory & Stock Management:
Conduct weekly inventory audits and ensure accurate stock records.
Manage replenishment, shrinkage, and audit discrepancies.
Financial Reconciliation:
Ensure accurate daily sales reconciliation (cash, card, UPI).
Guarantee timely deposit of cash and settlement of digital payments.
Administrative Duties:
Ensure timely submission of reports and documentation.
Maintain staff attendance, schedules, and operational checklists.
Dispute & Issue Resolution:
Resolve customer complaints and internal grievances effectively.
Maintain a positive and productive work atmosphere.
Desired Candidate Profile:
Graduate / Postgraduate in Business, Retail, or related field.
3-6 years of experience
in
retail store management
, preferably in
sportswear, fashion, or lifestyle brands
.
Strong leadership, communication, and people management skills.
Sound understanding of P&L, sales analysis, and retail operations.
Passionate about sports and customer service excellence.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
