Job Summary



We are seeking an experienced, reliable, and organized

Store Manager

to oversee all storing operations of our hotel. The ideal candidate will manage the hotel's inventory, ensure smooth store operations, supervise staff, maintain hygiene and safety standards, and collaborate with purchasing and other departments to meet hotel goals.

Key Responsibilities

Receive, inspect, and record goods delivered to the store; ensure they match purchase orders in terms of quantity, quality, and condition. Manage inventory levels: maintain par levels, monitor usage, and initiate orders to avoid shortages or overstock. Keep accurate records of all incoming and outgoing stock, delivery notes, invoices, etc. Supervising store staff: hiring, training, scheduling, and evaluating performance. Maintain the store area: cleanliness, organization, proper storage, and hygiene. Reject or report damaged or substandard items. Coordinate with Purchasing / Procurement to place orders, negotiate with vendors, and ensure timely deliveries. Conduct regular physical stock counts / audits; reconcile with inventory/management software. Control costs, prevent wastage, and minimize losses due to spoilage, theft, or damage. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations relevant to food, beverages, and other hotel supplies. Ensure requisitions are properly authorized, documented, and issued by the right departments. Prepare periodic reports (daily / weekly / monthly) on inventory status, stock usage, variances, stock valuation, etc. Liaise with other hotel departments (kitchen, housekeeping, front office, maintenance etc.) to understand their requirements and ensure supply. Manage store budget and assist in planning procurement to align with hotel's financial targets.
Qualifications & Skills

Minimum

2-4 years

experience in store / inventory management, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment. Good knowledge of inventory control systems; comfortable using Microsoft Excel or other inventory / stock management software. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail. Leadership ability: capable of supervising and motivating staff. Good communication skills, both verbal and written. Basic numeracy skills: can do calculations for stock, cost, margins etc. Understanding of hygiene, safety, and relevant compliance requirements (food safety, storage conditions etc.). Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage multiple tasks. Integrity and reliability.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
