The ideal candidate will be responsible for inventory control, proper storage of materials, issue tracking, and ensuring timely availability of supplies for production and operations. The role demands strong organizational skills, accuracy, and coordination with multiple departments.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the day-to-day operations of the store including receipt, storage, and issue of goods.
Maintain accurate records of inventory using manual logs and ERP systems.
Ensure proper stock levels for raw materials, packaging, consumables, spare parts, and finished goods.
Monitor stock movement and conduct regular stock audits and physical verification.
Coordinate with procurement, production, and accounts for material planning and documentation.
Ensure safe and organized storage following FIFO/FEFO principles.
Maintain cleanliness and safety of the store premises.
Prepare GRNs (Goods Receipt Notes), issue slips, and update inward/outward registers.
Track and report near-expiry, slow-moving, or excess inventory.
Supervise store assistants and helpers.
Key Requirements:
Graduate in Commerce, Inventory Management, or any related field.
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in store/inventory management, preferably in dairy or food processing industry.
Strong knowledge of inventory systems and MS Excel.
Familiarity with ERP software (e.g., ERPNext, Tally, etc.) preferred.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
