domain, delivering reliable diagnostic kits, reagents, and laboratory solutions to healthcare and research institutions across India.
Position Overview:
The
Store Manager - IVD
will manage end-to-end store operations while efficiently
handling multiple tasks simultaneously
. The role requires strong coordination with
vendors, internal teams, and logistics partners
, along with sound knowledge of IVD products and inventory control.
Key Responsibilities:
Inventory & Store Operations
Manage receipt, storage, and dispatch of
IVD kits, reagents, consumables, and laboratory equipment
.
Maintain accurate physical and system inventory records.
Track stock levels, batch numbers, and expiry dates; ensure FIFO/FEFO practices.
Handle
multiple operational tasks simultaneously
, including inventory updates, dispatch coordination, and documentation.
Vendor & Procurement Coordination
Coordinate with
approved vendors and suppliers
for material receipt, shortages, replacements, and discrepancies.
Follow up with vendors for timely delivery of materials and resolve quality or quantity issues.
Maintain vendor-related records, invoices, and communication logs.
Order Processing & Documentation
Prepare and verify GRNs, delivery challans, invoices, and dispatch documents.
Ensure accurate documentation for audits and internal compliance checks.
Coordinate with logistics teams for timely dispatch and delivery.
Quality & Compliance
Ensure compliance with
GMP, ISO, and internal SOPs
applicable to IVD products.
Support internal and external audits.
Ensure proper storage conditions for temperature-sensitive and regulated products.
Team Coordination
Supervise store assistants/helpers and allocate daily tasks.
Train staff on correct handling, storage, and documentation procedures.
Maintain cleanliness, safety, and discipline within the store.
Process Improvement & Reporting
Suggest and implement improvements in store layout, inventory systems, and workflow efficiency.
Prepare periodic stock, expiry, and dispatch reports using Excel or ERP systems.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Science, Biotechnology, Life Sciences, or related discipline
2-5 years of experience
in store/inventory management, preferably in
IVD, diagnostics, medical devices, pharma, or life sciences
Working knowledge of
MS Excel, inventory software, ERP/Tally
