Job Description

Staff Management

:Hiring, training, scheduling, and supervising store staff and volunteers, creating a positive work environment, and providing feedback and performance evaluations.

Inventory and Stock Control

:Monitoring stock levels, placing orders for new supplies, managing inventory records, conducting stocktakes, and minimizing stockouts and overstocking.

Customer Service

:Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction, handling customer inquiries and complaints, and building positive relationships with the school community.

Store Operations

:Overseeing the daily operations of the store, maintaining a clean and hygienic environment, ensuring proper merchandising, and implementing store policies and procedures.

Financial Management

:Managing store budgets, controlling expenses, and preparing reports on sales, inventory, and profitability.

Compliance and Safety

:Ensuring compliance with school policies, health and safety regulations, and loss prevention measures.

Marketing and Sales

:Implementing strategies to promote products and increase sales to meet the needs of the school community.

Qualifications

A high school diploma or equivalent is typically required. Previous retail or management experience is beneficial. Experience in a school environment or with youth-focused retail is a plus.
