Job Profile: Store Manager - Kitchenware Retail Store

Location: Ahmedabad, Gujarat

Reporting To: Area Manager / Regional Sales Manager

Days: All days of the Week

Timing: 10 am to 8:00 pm

Role Overview: The Store Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of retail store operations, with a focus on kitchenware and culinary products. This includes managing staff, optimizing sales, maintaining inventory, ensuring excellent customer service, and implementing effective merchandising strategies. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of kitchenware trends and customer preferences in the home and lifestyle retail segment.

Key Responsibilities:

? Store Operations: Manage the day-to-day operations of the store including opening/closing procedures, cleanliness, safety, and maintenance.

? Team Management: Recruit, train, and supervise store staff. Conduct regular performance reviews and ensure high levels of motivation and productivity.

? Sales & Customer Service: Drive store sales to meet/exceed targets. Handle escalated customer queries and ensure superior service and customer satisfaction.

? Inventory & Stock Management: Monitor stock levels, place reorders, perform stock audits, and reduce shrinkage. Ensure optimal display and availability of fast-moving kitchenware items.

? Merchandising: Plan and execute visual merchandising displays to promote seasonal or high-margin products.

? Vendor Coordination: Work with suppliers and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery and availability of products.

? Reporting & Compliance: Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports. Ensure the store complies with all safety, health, and retail standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

? 3-7 years of experience in retail, preferably in kitchenware or home products.

? Proven leadership and team management abilities.

? Strong understanding of inventory and stock control processes.

? Good communication skills in English, Hindi, and Gujarati.

? Proficiency in retail POS systems and Microsoft Office tools. Preferred Traits:

? Ability to analyze trends and customer behavior

? High level of organization and attention to detail

? Customer-first mindset and problem-solving ability

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ?400,000.00 - ?500,000.00 per year
