1. Store Operations & Inventory Management
Oversee daily operations of the tarpaulin store and ensure smooth workflow.
Manage inventory levels -- monitor stock of tarpaulins, canvas rolls, fittings, ropes, and related accessories.
Coordinate with suppliers and purchase department for timely replenishment.
Implement stock auditing and minimise material wastage or pilferage.
2. Sales & Customer Relations
Attend to walk-in and business customers, understand their requirements, and provide suitable product solutions.
Prepare quotations, handle pricing negotiations, and close sales effectively.
Maintain relationships with existing clients and identify new business opportunities.
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business.
3. Team Management & Coordination
Supervise store assistants, delivery staff, and helpers.
Allocate daily tasks and ensure productivity.
Provide training on product knowledge, safety, and handling procedures.
4. Financial & Reporting Duties
Maintain daily sales and expense reports.
Coordinate with accounts for billing, receipts, and vendor payments.
Ensure compliance with company SOPs for cash handling and documentation.
5. Process Improvement & Growth Contribution
Identify areas for operational efficiency and suggest process improvements.
Implement new technology to modernise store management using automation.
Support the business in scaling through better store presentation and customer service.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
