Job Description

Manager (Electrical) oversees all aspects of electrical operations, including managing projects, leading teams, and ensuring compliance with safety and industry standards. Key responsibilities involve strategic planning, budget management, and the design, installation, and maintenance of electrical systems, while also ensuring safe and efficient operations. Responsibilities and duties

Project and operations management:

Oversee electrical projects from conception to completion, including planning, budgeting, and execution. Manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables, and ensure projects stay within budget. Coordinate with clients, consultants, and contractors for smooth project execution. Supervise installation, modification, and maintenance of electrical systems and equipment.

Team and stakeholder leadership:

Lead and mentor a team of electrical engineers and technicians. Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to align project goals. Liaise with clients, and provide technical guidance and support.

Compliance and safety:

Ensure all work complies with safety regulations, codes, and industry standards. Implement and enforce safety procedures and standards on site. Conduct site inspections and quality assurance measures.

Technical and administrative tasks:

Review technical documents, drawings, and specifications. Conduct and review electrical tests, as required. Manage documentation, material procurement, and inventory. Develop and update project estimates, and handle contract administration.

Strategic development:

Identify and mitigate potential electrical hazards. Continuously improve electrical processes and procedures. Stay updated on the latest advancements in electrical engineering and relevant technologies.
