The Store Manager will be responsible for overseeing all day-to-day activities related to the receipt, storage, and issue of materials. The role involves maintaining accurate stock records, ensuring proper documentation, and coordinating with purchase, despatch, and accounts departments for smooth material flow.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage
inward and outward material movement
, ensuring proper documentation.
Maintain
accurate inventory records
in Tally, Google Sheets and Physical Registers.
Conduct
regular stock verification
and reconcile discrepancies.
Ensure proper
storage, labeling and safety
of all materials.
Coordinate with the
purchase
for material requirements and timely availability.
Monitor
minimum and maximum stock levels
and raise requisitions accordingly.
Supervise loading/unloading activities and ensure quality checks during material receipt.
Prepare and maintain reports such as
MRNs, stock ledgers, and material issue slips
.
Ensure cleanliness and proper organization within the store area.
Train and monitor store assistants for accuracy and discipline.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:
Graduate (preferably in Commerce, Supply Chain, or related field).
3-5 years
of experience in store/inventory management, preferably in manufacturing.
Strong knowledge of
inventory control, stock reconciliation, and documentation
.
Proficiency in
ERP/Tally/MS Excel
.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Strong attention to detail and accountability.
