Oversee day-to-day store operations and ensure smooth functioning.
Maintain proper display, stock arrangement, cleanliness, and store discipline.
Monitor product availability, stock levels, and coordinate with the warehouse for replenishment.
Supervise and guide store staff to achieve daily sales targets.
Handle customer queries, complaints, and ensure excellent customer service.
Ensure all store policies, SOPs, and hygiene standards are followed.
Prevent stock loss, pilferage, and ensure safety of store assets.
Prepare daily sales reports and submit to management.
Billing & Cash Handling
Manage billing counter operations efficiently using POS/ billing software.
Scan items, generate bills, collect payments (cash, card, UPI).
Handle returns, exchanges, and price corrections as per policy.
Ensure accurate cash handling and maintain the daily cash register.
Reconcile end-of-day cash, card settlements, and handover to accounts/admin.
Staff Coordination
Allocate duties to store staff and monitor performance.
Ensure attendance, discipline, and punctuality of team members.
Provide basic training for customer handling, billing, and store processes.
Requirements:
Minimum 1-2 years experience in retail store operations & billing.
Strong knowledge of retail products, store management, and stock control.
Proficiency in POS/Billing software.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to handle pressure, multitask, and manage a team.
Basic computer skills (Excel, billing systems).
Honest, disciplined, and well-organized.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in FMCG/retail/wholesale stores.
Knowledge of inventory management.
Leadership and problem-solving skills.
