Store Manager is responsible for the overall success of the retail location, including maximizing sales, driving profitability, managing staff, ensuring exceptional customer experience, and maintaining operational excellence. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a proven track record in retail management, and a deep understanding of electronic devices, mobile technology, or related products.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales and Profitability Management
Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets and Key Performance Indicators .
Analyze sales data, market trends, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.
Manage store budget, control expenses, and ensure efficient inventory management to maximize profitability.
Lead by example in driving sales and upselling high-value electronic and mobile products and services.
2. Team Leadership and Development
Recruit, hire, train, coach, and motivate a high-performing sales team.
Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to foster continuous improvement.
Create and manage employee schedules to ensure adequate coverage and productivity.
Cultivate a positive, high-energy, and goal-oriented store culture.
3. Operational Excellence
Ensure the store is compliant with all company policies, procedures, and security protocols.
Oversee all daily operations, including cash handling, opening/closing procedures, and back-office administration.
Manage inventory control, including receiving, processing, and conducting regular physical counts to minimize shrinkage.
Ensure the store visual standards are consistently maintained, particularly for product displays of electronics and mobile devices.
4. Customer Experience
Ensure every customer interaction is positive, professional, and exceeds expectations.
Proactively resolve customer escalations, complaints, and complex technical issues related to products and services.
Train the team on providing expert product knowledge and personalized solutions, especially regarding mobile plan activations, device features, and technical support.
5. Product and Industry Expertise (Preferred)
Preference for candidates who can demonstrate deep knowledge of electronic products, mobile phones, telecommunications, and associated services .* Stay current with new product launches, technology advancements, and industry news to effectively educate staff and customers.
Qualifications Required:
Proven experience (2 years) .
Strong business acumen with a history of meeting or exceeding sales goals and KPIs.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability to train, mentor, and manage a team effectively.
Prior experience as a Store Manager or Assistant Manager within the
electronic retail, mobile phone, wireless provider, or technology sales industry is highly desirable.
