Job Summary - Store Manager (Male)

The Store Manager is responsible for overall showroom operations, sales performance, staff management, inventory control, customer satisfaction, and compliance with company policies in a jewellery retail environment.

Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Business Development

Achieve showroom sales targets for gold, diamond, silver, and precious jewellery Drive customer engagement, high-value sales, and repeat business Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance Implement sales promotions and festive offers as per company strategy

Operations & Inventory Control

Ensure proper stock management, tagging, and daily stock verification Maintain accurate records of inward/outward jewellery movement Ensure security procedures for high-value inventory Coordinate with accounts for billing, cash, and reconciliation

Customer Experience

Handle VIP and high-net-worth customers professionally Resolve customer complaints and ensure customer satisfaction Maintain high standards of showroom presentation and hygiene

Team Management

Recruit, train, and manage sales staff and support employees Allocate duties, prepare staff rosters, and monitor attendance Motivate team members to achieve individual and showroom targets Conduct performance reviews and recommend incentives or disciplinary action

Compliance & Reporting

Ensure compliance with company policies, hallmarking norms, and legal regulations Prepare daily sales reports, stock reports, and MIS Coordinate with head office for audits and operational reviews

Skills & Competencies

Strong leadership and people-management skills In-depth knowledge of jewellery products and retail operations Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities Financial understanding of sales, margins, and inventory control Proficiency in POS systems, billing software, and MS Office

Qualifications & Experience

Graduate / Postgraduate preferred

5-10 years

experience in jewellery retail, with

2-3 years

in a managerial role Experience in handling high-value transactions and audits

Working Conditions

Retail showroom environment Shift-based duty including weekends and festive seasons High responsibility role involving inventory and cash handling
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
