Key Responsibilities
Inventory & Store Management -
Supervise day-to-day store operations including receiving, storage, and dispatch of materials.
Maintain accurate inventory levels for fabricated parts
Conduct regular stock audits and reconcile variances.
Implement and monitor FIFO.
Ensure the proper physical verification in regular intervals.
Handling Goods Receipt Note (GRN)
Material Issuance and Control, Management of Shelf-Life Items
Control of Slow Moving & Non-moving Items
Verification of Bill of Materials (BOM) Items
Management of Consumables and Packaging Materials, Posting as per Actual Consumption
Reconciliation of Returnable Gate Pass (RGP) / Non-Returnable Gate Pass
Handling of Supplier Rejected Materials
Coordinate with Production, Purchase, and Planning teams to ensure timely availability of materials for vehicle assembly.
Documentation & ERP
Maintain updated records in ERP/MRP systems SAP
Ensure correct documentation for GRN, MRN, issue slips, return notes, and stock statements.
Track vendor deliveries, pending orders, and material shortages.
Team Management & Other activities related to Stores
People Management.
Train staff in store processes, ERP usage, hygiene and 5S.
Coordinate with suppliers for timely delivery and resolve material discrepancies.
Oversee proper unloading, handling of heavy components and storage as per safety norms
