The Store & Logistics Manager will be responsible for overall store operations, inventory control, logistics coordination, and team management. The role requires strong leadership skills, accuracy in inventory handling, and effective communication in English to ensure smooth coordination across departments and vendors.
Key ResponsibilitiesStores & Inventory Management
Manage day-to-day operations, including receipt, storage, and issue of raw materials, consumables, spares, and finished goods.
Ensure proper inventory control, stock accuracy, and FIFO/FEFO practices.
Maintain inventory records in ERP/Excel and conduct regular physical stock verification.
Monitor minimum, maximum, and reorder stock levels to prevent shortages or overstocking.
Coordinate with Purchase, Production, and Quality teams for material planning.
Logistics & Dispatch
Plan and manage inbound and outbound logistics operations.
Coordinate with transporters and logistics service providers for timely deliveries.
Handle dispatch planning, loading schedules, and route optimization.
Ensure all logistics documentation such as GRN, delivery challan, invoices, e-way bills, and gate passes are accurate and compliant.
Responsible for monthly verification of courier partner bills, validating charges against agreed rates, shipment data, and service-level agreements.
Team Management
Lead, supervise, and manage storekeepers and logistics staff.
Assign duties, monitor performance, and ensure discipline within the team.
Train team members on store procedures, inventory control, safety, and documentation.
Ensure smooth coordination between store, logistics, and other departments.
Reporting & Compliance
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports related to inventory, dispatch, and logistics costs.
Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and statutory requirements.
Support internal and external audits by maintaining proper records and documentation.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Graduation is mandatory.
Minimum 3 years of experience in Store & Logistics management.
Proven experience in
managing and leading a team
.
Good command of
English-Hindi-Gujarati (reading, writing, and communication)
.
Strong knowledge of inventory management, logistics processes, and documentation.
Working knowledge of ERP systems and MS Excel.
Good coordination, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
Strong knowledge of inventory control, stock management, and store operations.
Ability to perform stock reconciliation and analyze inventory discrepancies.
Knowledge of GST, e-way bill process, and logistics compliance.
Time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
Familiarity with material handling, storage standards, and safety procedures.
