Job Title: Store Assistant

Job Summary:

The Store Assistant will be responsible for the management and organisation of materials, tools, and equipment. This role ensures that all inventory is accurately recorded, timely available, and safely stored to support site operations and administrative functions.

Key Responsibilities:

Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials and supplies.

Maintain accurate records of stock levels.

Ensure timely issuance of construction and maintenance materials.

Conduct periodic stock checks and reconcile with inventory records.

Coordinate with site supervisors, project managers, and procurement teams to ensure timely delivery of required materials.

Arrange transportation and delivery of stock to various project sites.

Track and monitor movement of goods between store and project sites.

Maintain updated records of all incoming and outgoing stock.

Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports and take signs of Project Managers.

Keep the store area clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.

Label and store materials in an orderly and easily accessible manner.

Implement proper storage practices for fragile or hazardous materials.

Liaise with engineers, contractors, and site managers regarding material availability.

Report any damages, losses, or discrepancies to the appropriate authority.

Requirements:

Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a similar storekeeping or warehouse role, preferably in construction or real estate.

Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Familiarity with MS Office (especially Excel).

Basic understanding of construction materials and tools.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to lift heavy materials and operate warehouse equipment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹10,000.48 - ₹18,000.96 per month
