Key Responsibilities:
1. Inventory Management: Receive, store, and issue chemicals according to inventory procedures.
2. Stock Control: Monitor stock levels, track inventory, and report any discrepancies or shortages.
3. Safety and Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety regulations, handling procedures, and storage guidelines for chemicals.
4. Labeling and Signage: Maintain accurate labeling and signage for chemicals, including hazard warnings and safety information.
5. Storage and Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and well-ventilated storage area, ensuring chemicals are stored according to compatibility and safety guidelines.
6. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of chemical inventory, receipts, issues, and disposal.
7. Collaboration: Work with other departments to ensure timely delivery of chemicals and resolve any issues related to inventory or storage.
Requirements:
1. Education: Diploma or degree in a relevant field (e.g., chemistry, logistics).
2. Experience: Previous experience in chemical storage, inventory management, or a similar role.
3. Skills: Attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to follow safety protocols.
