for our restaurant who will be responsible for managing inventory, receiving supplies, maintaining stock records, and ensuring proper storage of food and non-food items. The ideal candidate should have basic knowledge of restaurant materials and inventory control.
Key Responsibilities:
Receive, check, and store food items, beverages, and other restaurant supplies
Maintain accurate stock records and inventory registers
Monitor stock levels and inform management about shortages
Issue materials to kitchen and service staff as per requirement
Ensure proper storage as per hygiene and safety standards (FIFO method)
Check expiry dates and quality of stored items
Coordinate with vendors and purchase department for timely supplies
Maintain cleanliness and organization of store area
Reduce wastage and control pilferage
Prepare daily/weekly stock reports
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Store Keeper in a restaurant or hotel
Knowledge of inventory management and stock control
Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
Basic computer skills (MS Excel, inventory software is a plus)
Good organizational and record-keeping skills
Ability to work under pressure
Honest, responsible, and detail-oriented
Educational Qualification:
Diploma or certification in hotel management is an advantage
Working Hours:
Shift-based (as per restaurant operations)
