Receive, inspect, and properly store all food, beverage, and non-food items delivered to the restaurant.
Maintain accurate records of stock levels, inventory movements, and daily transactions.
Ensure all products are labeled, organized, and stored following food safety and hygiene standards (FIFO/FEFO).
Monitor stock usage and coordinate with the kitchen and purchasing departments for timely replenishment.
Conduct regular stock counts and assist in monthly/weekly inventory audits.
Check and verify expiry dates, quality, and condition of all incoming items.
Issue supplies to kitchen and service teams based on requisitions and maintain proper documentation.
Prevent stock damage, wastage, pilferage, or loss by ensuring proper handling and storage practices.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of storage areas, freezers, and dry stores.
Coordinate with suppliers and purchasing team regarding delivery schedules, shortages, or discrepancies.
Ensure compliance with restaurant policies, safety rules, and food hygiene regulations.
Prepare inventory reports and assist management with cost-control efforts.
