Job Description

Receive, inspect, and verify incoming food, beverage, and non-food supplies. Ensure all received items meet quality, quantity, and safety standards. Record deliveries and maintain accurate stock documentation (GRNs, invoices, logs). Organize and store items properly following FIFO/FEFO methods. Monitor stock levels and initiate reorders to prevent shortages or overstocking. Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and safety in storage areas according to F&B standards. Track expiry dates and ensure timely rotation of perishable items. Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies. Issue raw materials and supplies to kitchen, bar, and service staff as requested. Maintain updated inventory management systems or software. Secure storage areas and prevent theft, spoilage, or contamination. Coordinate with procurement, kitchen, and management teams for smooth operations. Handle proper disposal of expired or damaged goods per company policy. Monitor temperature-controlled storage areas (freezers, chillers) for compliance. Prepare inventory reports for management review. Follow all food safety standards (HACCP, local hygiene regulations). Support audits and inspections by providing required inventory documentation.
