Job Description

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented

Storekeeper

to manage inventory and store operations at our project sites for mechanical and electrical works. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in storekeeping and inventory control within a project or construction environment.

This position plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth functioning of site operations by maintaining accurate records of materials, tools, and equipment received, issued, and stored.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage day-to-day store operations at the project site. Receive, inspect, and properly record all incoming materials, tools, and equipment. Issue materials as per project requirements while maintaining proper documentation. Maintain inventory records manually and/or using software tools. Monitor stock levels and report shortages or discrepancies in a timely manner. Ensure safe storage, labeling, and handling of all materials. Coordinate with site engineers, procurement teams, and vendors. Perform regular stock audits and assist in reconciliation. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store area.

Candidate Requirements:

Minimum

1 year of experience

in storekeeping, preferably in mechanical/electrical project environments. Strong knowledge of

inventory management practices

and stock control procedures. Ability to maintain

accurate records

of receipts, issues, and stock levels.

Basic computer skills

for record-keeping and reporting (Excel, inventory software, etc.). Good communication and organizational skills.

Educational background

in engineering, technical, or related fields is an added advantage. Familiarity with MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) materials is a plus.
