Job Summary
The
Store Keeper / Store In-Charge
will be responsible for end-to-end store and inventory operations, ensuring accurate stock management, proper documentation, and timely availability of materials. The role demands strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and prior experience in
hospital or pharmacy store management
.
Key Responsibilities Store Operations & Inventory Management
Manage daily store activities including receipt, storage, and issue of materials
Maintain accurate inventory records and perform stock reconciliation
Monitor minimum and maximum stock levels and initiate timely replenishment
Conduct regular physical stock audits and resolve discrepancies
Ensure proper material identification, labeling, and safe storage
Documentation & Compliance
Maintain records such as GRNs, stock registers, issue slips, and return notes
Coordinate with procurement, accounts, and project teams for documentation
Ensure compliance with organizational policies, audit requirements, and safety standards
Team & Stakeholder Coordination
Supervise and guide store staff and helpers
Coordinate with internal departments for material planning and requirements
Manage vendor deliveries and support inspections
Reporting & Process Improvement
Implement best practices for inventory control and loss prevention
Prepare inventory, consumption, and stock status reports for management
Support internal and external audits
Required Qualifications
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in any discipline (preferred)
5-8 years of experience
in store or warehouse management
Mandatory experience in
hospital or pharmacy store operations
Strong knowledge of inventory control and material management
Experience working with
ERP or inventory management systems
Good understanding of safety and material handling practices
Hiring Note
