Job Description

Receive incoming shipments of automobile parts and verify quantities and quality against invoices and delivery notes. Properly label, tag, and store materials in designated areas based on type, size, and frequency of use. Issue parts and materials to workshop technicians based on job cards and requisitions. Maintain accurate records of all stock movements using manual logs or inventory software. Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile with system records; report any discrepancies. Coordinate with procurement, service, and workshop departments to ensure timely supply of needed items. Ensure storage area is clean, organized, and compliant with safety and fire regulations. Monitor stock levels and generate purchase requests for fast-moving or critical items to avoid shortages. Handle warranty returns and defective parts as per company procedures. Maintain tools, equipment, and storage systems in good working condition. Assist in loading/unloading materials and organizing transport for inter-branch transfers, if needed.
