Store Keeper
to manage site inventory, construction materials, tools, and equipment efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Manage receiving, issuing, and recording of construction materials, consumables, tools, and equipment.
Maintain updated stock registers (manual & digital) with accurate documentation.
Ensure proper storage, labelling, and preservation of materials as per standards.
Coordinate with site engineers, purchase department, and project managers for daily requirements.
Monitor stocks and raise reorder levels to avoid material shortages.
Inspect incoming materials for quality, specification, and quantity compliance.
Maintain records of tools, machinery, electrical items, and fuel consumption logs.
Manage returnable items, calibration records, and equipment tracking.
Assist in monthly stock audits and inventory reconciliation.
Qualifications & Skill Requirements
ITI or Diploma
(Electrical / Mechanical / Civil / Fitter / Any Technical Trade).
2-8 years' experience in
construction site stores
, preferably in road or infrastructure works.
Knowledge of
construction materials, equipment, and methods
is essential.
Basic understanding of
electrical, mechanical, and fitting tools & components
.
Familiarity with stock management software, Excel, and WhatsApp reporting.
Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
Ability to work independently and manage a fast-paced store environment.
