Job Description

To manage and oversee all store and inventory operations, ensuring the timely availability of materials and finished goods while maintaining accurate stock levels, minimizing discrepancies, and improving operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Inventory Management

Monitor and manage inventory levels of raw materials, hardware, consumables, tools, and finished goods. Maintain minimum stock levels and ensure reordering is done proactively. Conduct regular physical stock audits and reconcile discrepancies. Ensure proper documentation and tagging of incoming and outgoing materials. Manage bin cards and stock registers.

2. Store Operations

Oversee daily store activities including receiving, inspecting, storing, and issuing of materials. Ensure proper storage systems (FIFO/LIFO) are followed to avoid damage/loss. Maintain cleanliness, safety, and organization within the store. Implement effective space utilization for materials.

3. Material Inward & Outward

Coordinate with purchase and production teams for timely material inward and issue. Verify quantity and quality of goods received with purchase orders and GRNs. Maintain records of all inward and outward movements (manual and system-based). Manage gate pass systems and ensure authorized dispatches only.

4. Software & Reporting

Maintain inventory in ERP/Tally or any inventory software used by the company. Generate daily/weekly/monthly stock reports and submit to management. Raise alerts on slow-moving, non-moving, or overstocked items.

5. Coordination

Coordinate with the procurement team for shortages or urgent material requirements. Liaise with accounts and production for stock valuation and consumption records. Support logistics and dispatch planning for finished goods delivery.
