Position Title: Store Inventory Keeper / Storekeeper

Job Purpose

The Store Inventory Keeper is responsible for receiving, storing, issuing, and maintaining accurate records of materials, tools, and inventory to ensure proper stock control and smooth operations

Key Responsibilities

Inventory Management

Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials and goods

Maintain accurate stock records in manual registers or inventory software

Ensure proper storage, labeling, and categorization of items

Monitor stock levels and inform management for re-ordering

Issuing & Dispatch

Issue materials as per approved requisitions

Maintain issue and return records

Coordinate dispatch of materials to departments or project sites

Stock Control & Reporting

Conduct regular stock counts and physical inventory audits

Identify discrepancies, damages, or shortages and report immediately

Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports

Documentation & Compliance

Maintain GRN, stock registers, bin cards, and delivery challans

Ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards

Coordinate with purchase and accounts departments

Housekeeping & Safety

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store/warehouse

Follow safety procedures for material handling and storage

Required Skills & Competencies

Knowledge of inventory control and storekeeping procedures

Basic computer skills (Excel / Inventory software / ERP)

Good record-keeping and attention to detail

Ability to handle physical stock and materials

Good coordination and communication skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
