Job Description

Job Summary:



The Store In-Charge is responsible for the overall management of the kitchen and stationery stores, ensuring proper inventory control, timely giving Indents for procurement, and efficient distribution of materials and supplies. The role supports daily operations by coordinating with school staff, and kitchen personnel to maintain stock levels and accurate records.

Key Responsibilities



Inventory Management



Maintain up-to-date inventory records for kitchen and stationery supplies. Monitor stock levels and initiate timely replenishment. Conduct regular physical stock checks and reconcile with records. Ensure proper storage conditions and labeling of items.

Procurement and Vendor Coordination



Source and evaluate suppliers for kitchen and stationery items. Ensure quality inspection of received goods.

Distribution and Issue Management



Issue stationery to staff and students as per requisitions. Coordinate with kitchen staff for timely issue of food materials and supplies. Maintain issue registers and records for accountability.

Documentation and Reporting



Prepare Daily / monthly stock and consumption reports. Maintain records of purchase orders, invoices, and delivery notes. Support internal and external audits related to store operations.

Compliance and Safety



Ensure store operations comply with school policies and hygiene standards. Implement safety protocols for handling and storing consumable goods. Dispose of expired or unusable stock responsibly.

Qualifications and Skills



Minimum qualification: Commerce Graduate with Diploma in Store Management / Supply Chain / Related field. 2-3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in an educational institution. Strong knowledge of inventory software and Microsoft Excel. Good communication and organizational skills. Attention to detail and integrity in handling school property.

Working Conditions



Office and store-based work. May require occasional lifting or manual handling of supplies.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
