The Store In-charge is responsible for managing the receipt, storage, and issuance of materials, ensuring proper stock control, documentation, and smooth flow of materials for project/site/office requirements. The role ensures accurate inventory management, timely material availability, and adherence to company policies.
b) Key Responsibilities:
Supervise daily store operations including receiving, storing, and issuing of materials.
Maintain proper stock levels and ensure timely replenishment to avoid shortages.
Conduct physical verification of stock and maintain inventory records in System/manual registers.
Ensure safe storage, proper labeling, and handling of materials as per quality standards.
Monitor material movement, prepare stock statements, and reconcile with accounts.
Handle inward and outward material documentation such as GRN, Issue Slips, Delivery Challans, etc.
Coordinate with the purchase team for timely procurement and vendor follow-ups.
Prevent material losses, theft, or damage through proper monitoring and control.
Ensure compliance with safety, security, and audit requirements of the store.
Train and guide store staff/helpers for efficient functioning.
Exprience: 3-5 yrs
